EA you are violating your own terms
If you have not updated your game past 1.67 don't buy anymore stuff packs or sets for Sims 3. EA is forcing update if you do. I bought 2 stuff packs and was not able to install them unless I updated...

Have you been on to customer services and explained the situation? They may still give you a refund, even if it is not strictly their policy.
Also, just thought I'd ask before you go and buy the discs - do you have the other packs on disc? Cos I believe you cannot mix and match. Maybe someone can clarify this, but it is my understanding that you have to either install everything on disc or everything as digital download.
