EA you are violating your own terms
If you have not updated your game past 1.67 don't buy anymore stuff packs or sets for Sims 3. EA is forcing update if you do. I bought 2 stuff packs and was not able to install them unless I updated...

No I am on 1.69 ( it updated even though I had ticked no auto updates) so understand what you are saying re making purchases but I already own the whole store and have backed up my store content for future use I was asking with a view to thinking if I ever lost my downloads in the future for some reason and was no longer using Origin.
Actually I was trying to help @mumu3063 in some way as he/she wants to reinstall discs after a hard drive crash and also wants to avoid Origin but still be able to find some way of downloading all their store content again.. I believe a pre 2012 disc will be used but was not sure about the store content and how to get it back under those circumstances.. I hope they mange to find a way before going all disc.. :)
