EA you are violating your own terms
If you have not updated your game past 1.67 don't buy anymore stuff packs or sets for Sims 3. EA is forcing update if you do. I bought 2 stuff packs and was not able to install them unless I updated...

was just going over all the times players have been in that type of situation; where the game was doing something, there was a bug, or whatever and they keep saying hope they fix it. Yet their pattern has been not to fix it.
What does this have to do with my current situation ? EA wants things their way at the expense of the player. Not going there.
I just wanted to find a fun game to play & feels like I ended up in a hornets nest.
So I'm going to do just what tyou said, play Sims 3 as long as I can, until EA slams the door in our face, because they're closing it slowly, and in spare time look for something else to do.
And you know what else? I bet this was the last patch. and it wouldn't surprise me if the Sims Store is gone in the next year.
Surprising if this weren't the case as they did it with TS2 and the store edition. Only to give this a slow death as TS3 grew in more EPs & SPs
Honestly, I'm wondering why the heck ppl continue ordering anything through Origin. When installing & accessing the game via Steam is a relatively bug and hassle free process?
edit: Steam stats on TS3 player usage continues to remain impressive fora 7 year old game
