EA you are violating your own terms
If you have not updated your game past 1.67 don't buy anymore stuff packs or sets for Sims 3. EA is forcing update if you do. I bought 2 stuff packs and was not able to install them unless I updated...

I just want to add some further info I found out today that does lead me to believe that store content does need to be downloaded dependent of which version of the game you are playing digitally/disc..
As I mentioned earlier in a post I was told by another player (I forget who now) that the game knows the difference between digitally downloaded store content and disc downloaded store content.. I wasn't sure but used my pre 2012 disc on my laptop that has never been used for sims games and thought I had downloaded everything from the store I owned until today when I realized 2 of my store worlds were missing so in an effort to make it easy on myself I added both worlds to my disc game folder from my digitally downloaded saves and they failed to install.. So I fired up my laptop again put in my disc and downloaded both worlds from the store then saved/backed them up. I then tried to install them into my disc game and it worked first time.. talk about the wonderful world of sims.. :)
