EA you are violating your own terms
If you have not updated your game past 1.67 don't buy anymore stuff packs or sets for Sims 3. EA is forcing update if you do. I bought 2 stuff packs and was not able to install them unless I updated...

glad to know you are giving it a try, I have had no problems so far with my disc game aside from the initial graphics card issues I always get when I have change my graphics card so I am daring to be a little hopeful I may have found my fix although I dare not shout that from the rooftops for fear of sim devil turning up and proving me wrong for the trillionth time :)
remember to uninstall Origin and using the new/old base game log into your store account and download/save backup all your store content marking it for disc game only then I would install the rest of the series after that and your good to go :)

Really hope I don't run into a snag on the downloading store bought things.
I've paid for over 30 pgs of Sims 3 things and will be so disappointed if I can't use them.
trying hard not to let that become the norm in my life with this game, but I'll let you know what happens.
