EA you are violating your own terms
If you have not updated your game past 1.67 don't buy anymore stuff packs or sets for Sims 3. EA is forcing update if you do. I bought 2 stuff packs and was not able to install them unless I updated...

you are welcome despite the long conversations regarding store content I think the easiest thing to remember is digital store bought content does not work with disc (it did not for me) and that is probably because we are using secondhand base game discs but what did work was putting my base-game disc in my laptop (instead of my main desktop PC) log into my store account and download everything and save it and I had no trouble using it in disc game then. This was the only time using my disc I was online after that I used my disc again in my second hard drive that does not access the internet and transferred all my store content/CC via external hard drive so I think if you are going to remain online doing this that's why I think it might be better to uninstall origin as it will probably try to interfere and you might click something wrong.
Oh and remember if you use mods to make sure they defo work on 1.67 patch as I forgot about that and had to re download some of them again because they were 1.69 lol
