EA you are violating your own terms
If you have not updated your game past 1.67 don't buy anymore stuff packs or sets for Sims 3. EA is forcing update if you do. I bought 2 stuff packs and was not able to install them unless I updated...

There are only 3 core mods that I know about. Two of them are from NRAAS. You might have one of them. The other is for people who make mods. Error Trap is the one you might have. If you get the. 1.69 version of the mod in your 1.67 game all that will happen is you'll see a message that you have the wrong version of the mod. It will still work. I think the other mod that is made by someone else is AwesomeMod. I don't know anything about it. Don't even know if there is a 1.69 version of it.
As far as I know other mods should work on either version of the game. The patch to take you to 1.69 didn't change anything about the game. It just links you into Origin and changes the launcher
