error (-5005: 0x80070002)

An error (-5005: 0x80070002) has occured while running the setup.

I get the message when I try to uninstall the game.. I did restore my computer a couple of days ago and I guess it's because of it.

How can I uninstall the game now?

    Thanks so much for the link to the revo uninstaller! I had tried everything and still couldn't get rid of that last bit of World Adventures. I couldn't find a trace of it the program files but it kept sitting in the control panel, waiting to be uninstalled but refusing to go. Giving me that error. Now it's gone and maybe I can move on to the next step of reinstalling WA. I'm still leery of messing with that particular game again, though.

    I tried this and it uninstalled it for me.
    But now I just can't install anything.
    I think I have really stuffed up my computer from so many countless attempts to fix Sims 3, my result always ends with Sims still unable to work along with something else that's stuffed up from trying to fix it.
