@MKSizzle I think you recently mentioned a new computer? Did you just reinstall everything on it and did this problem occur right away on the new install? If it's "yes" to both of of those, you might want to take a look at ciane's method of installing Store content here: https://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/866577/how-to-install-store-items . I've found doing it her way has really helped with whether things show up in my games. < Oh nevermind, I see you said you don't have Store content, but if you ever do, you might want to try this. LOL
Re. the Origin issues, there are two things to look for. First, which you probably know, is whether all your expansions and packs are checked in the launcher. Sometimes they get unchecked when there's an Origin update or something. You can just check anything again that you want. Then, look through the list and make sure everything you own is showing up on the list, whether checked or not. If something isn't there, it may have been deactivated. Sometimes this is kind of a fluke, and sometimes EA thinks you don't have a legitimate copy of something. You can try clearing IE cache and your cache packages in your Sims 3 documents folder (if you don't already do this and need to know which ones, holler), restarting your computer and relaunching the game to see if things then show up on the launcher list. If they don't, I think you need to talk with customer support from there (there may be something else to try, though, that I'm not familiar with). Clearing the game caches might also help if everything is present and checked in the launcher but you still have things missing in game.
I really don't know of another inexpensive shower like you describe other than the two Turjan linked that are available for Sims 3. Do you own any Store worlds (I know you said you don't have things from the Store, but I wasn't sure about the worlds)? The second one is from Sunlit Tides Gold version (specifically, it's part of Serenity Retreat).
Hope you get it all worked out. :)
