Figured I'd post some lesser memories:
Bunch Family
Played them a lot growing up, but never really got past Arlo being in young adulthood before I got bored or my game had issues due to me playing on a bad PC. But they were always my favourite to play with nonetheless
Curious Family
Favourite TS2 family, so upon Ambitions coming out, I played with Marshall, Cherish, Bunny and Notzo up until Notzo Curious and Zo Whellohf's son, Glarn Curious, married Glabe Curious and got "abducted". I gave up at that point as I didn't know how to force him to have twins.
I put Bunny Curious with DeAndre Wolfe which is... a little weird given how much older he is than her. But I liked DeAndre because he reminded me of rapper Lil Wayne due to his long hair and shades, a style iconic to Wayne back then. The character is actually very likely based on him, as IRL Wayne is from New Orleans - where the town of Twinbrook is based on. I never really liked Lil Wayne's music all that said, but I always saw him as a fashion icon and just general a cool chill guy.

Pokemon & Homestuck themed sims
Pokemon D&P came out a few years before The Sims 3, and at the time I was still playing it a bunch. The Sims 3 kind of became a billboard for my fandoms at that point.
I remade Volkner, Flint, Byron, Riley and Roark in particular in The Sims 3. There was also a Tumblr blog I followed that made all characters called Pokésims. The owner deleted it as apparently they weren't happy with the blog in retrospect due to some insensitive jokes and content (I don't remember anything all that sketchy but I was also a teen and have grown up a lot since), so I can't link it. :(
Pokemon Black & White came out a few years later, and I returned and made the male protagonist and the "antagonist" N, as well as Dent, Pod and Corn (I don't know their English names. I played the game in Japanese :tongue: the green one is Cilan, dunno the others)

I also made the original set of trolls and kids from Homestuck. 12 trolls and 4 kids. For anyone who follows homestuck, this is because at the time the comic was still in pre-scratch phase. This was my last "fandom" phase in The Sims, from memory. After this, I stopped making sims from pop culture and started playing more of Maxis' premades again or making my own characters.

Griselda Brunson, Candy Canes and the zetaboards stories: Little Sims and the Asylum Challenge
As I mentioned in the last post, I was on a Zetaboards forum a lot growing up that my friends made called Animal Crossing Neighborhood, and posted my Sims stories there. The stories here were far more complex than anything I'd done before, and I simply do not have the time to get into them in this post, nor do I remember Little Sims all that well.
Little Sims was the story of 8 female friends. I don't remember their names other than Griselda Brunson and Candy Canes. Griselda was an insane criminal into gothic lolita fashion who caused trouble. Candy Canes (a stage name) was stylised after Katy Perry. She was a famous singer, as this was in Showtime era TS3. The others were a flirty blonde, a sporty girl, a punk, a family oriented sim of indian heritage, a trans girl journalist and a red headed nerd. I wanted this cast of characters to be as diverse as possible. The trans girl - I'm not happy with my portrayal of her in retrospect. I didn't know a lot about trans issues at the time, and wanted her to have more gender neutral features due to being pre-op, so I made her male in game. The Sims 4 fixed this, where you could have masculine features on female characters.

I have hundreds of screenshots uploaded of these 8 characters though can't remember a thing, but I can't be bothered going through them enough to piece together the story - I just simply don't remember it. What I do remember though, is at the end, all 8 girls parted ways in various ways, which led onto their individual stories.
The only ones I ended up doing was Candy's story - fame got to her head, she drifted away from the friends she grew up with, spent all of her money and then faded into obscurity, broke and alone.
And Griselda. Who got sent to Sunset Valley Asylum after too many crimes. Sunset Valley Asylum, I remember a lot about the key members of.
-The "nurse" was Zelda Mae. Spoiler, there was no nurse, and this place is abandoned. She is also a patient. My friend picked up on that before I even unveiled it, so maybe I wasn't too subtle LOL.
-Griselda herself. I elaborated her backstory. She turned out the way she was because she was neglected as a child vs her twin sister (think Angela and Lilith Pleasant). What made matters worse was when her sister was murdered by her own husband for seemingly no reason. He repeatedly plead innocent - no one believed him. It torn the family apart completely.
-Griselda's eventual love interest, who I designed (in appearance) after Big Boss from Metal Gear Solid 3. Don't remember his name, though oddly I remember his backstory vividly. He was a firefighter who lost his family in a fire in his own home he attempted to put out, but the squad was too late. He received burns to the right side of his face so severe that he had to wear an eyepatch to cover his eye. He lived on with the memory both physically and mentally. Was sent to the asylum for severe PTSD.
-The real murderer of Griselda's twin sibling. He'd been locked away for more petty crimes. No one knew he was a killer. Immediately suspicious at the beginning of the story due to being the only seemingly "normal" person in the asylum.
The other asylum members were basically background characters and whilst they had their own little stories (one was an orphan for example), none were plot relevant. As I said, I have hundreds of screenshots, but I'm not posting them all as to not bloat this. Here, have Griselda and her love interest.

I don't have any screencaps of this one, but this was the last thing I did in TS3 before I moved on and at this point I stopped logging everything I did online, so nothing saved and no back ups. I got to gen 5 (Red Eyes - Anger) before I stopped due to losing interest. Unlike a regular legacy, all kids from the generation, i had fit into the "theme" though, as I felt if a sim had a cursed bloodline, surely everyone would be cursed and not just first born female heir?

Gen 1 - Amber Vistoso, Yellow heiress married Connor Frio, had two kids. I put Jared Frio with Madison from the Working Friends house.
Gen 2 - Cerise (girl) and Thulian (boy), Pink gen. Neither married. Don't remember who their partners were other than that Thulian married someone from France.
Gen 3 - White gen. Isabelline (girl) and Alabaster (boy). Possibly others but I don't remember at all. I remember nothing about this gen, lol.
Gen 4- Green gen. Phthalo (good old Bob Ross), Chartreuse, Pistachio, Hunter and Forest. Pistachio was a cutie to match with his name, I remember him, I posted him on the old Zetaboards a lot. Given Zetaboards is defunct now, there's no backup of those screenshots still. Phtalo was the main protagonist of this gen though, he married a gold digger, who later on killed him after their children had grown up, which brings us onto...
Gen 5 - Scarlet, Amaranth (though it's more pink tbh), Vermillion, Mahogany and Crimson. I don't remember the rest of this gen other than Scarlet, as her story was to avenge her father's death and put her mother to justice.
This is where I ended the legacy though, I believe it was due to computer issues. I never returned as I switched to a new PC and never picked up TS3 again. TS4 had come out and so had UC, so I migrated back to The Sims 2, and basically wrote The Sims 3 off as bad now.
