Will the game launch with no mods/CC and on the original sgr files? It is not necessary for the game to grant formal recognition to your graphics card, as long as the game detects the GPU it will be used. We can work out the recognition thing later, although honestly that doesn't really accomplish very much, once you have your game working and stable again.
The missing dll file error you reported in the beginning isn't meaningful, all TS3 crash logs say that. It's a fault in the crash log mechanism reporting on itself, not one with the game or why it crashed.
Hey! Yesterday, I put back in the original sgr files without removing mods/CC and it launched fine. I was able to use CAS, and the moment that I chose a house for my family to move into the game crashed. So, I tried choosing a default family (Agnes Crumplebottom to be exact) and it ran well.
My graphics weren't the best but I kept them low so nothing would happen, and my FPS remained between 59-60. It went around 160 twice, but that was only when I opened the map and I'm guessing my vsync got it back under control.
Now, I will say that I changed my fps to 144, only because my computer has a 144 hz refresh rate. After I did that, (I did a lot of troubleshooting yesterday), I loaded the game. After I created my sim (for the 2nd time) the game crashed. Weird thing is, I don't received a notification or anything. It just goes straight to my desktop, and yesterday it went to an error message from Origin (I forgot what it said verbatim).
Now because of that, I'm thinking it might be the type of CC my sim is wearing, however the CC that was used is safe. I'm going to take it out, but there's a part of me that thinks something else might be at hand.
Sorry if this message is too confusing, I just want to play my game.
