Game crashes every time sim goes home from University

Hello,

I am playing on my Mac, the 64 bit version. My sim has finished her first semester of University and when she leaves to go home, it crashes. The loading screen is up for a maybe a minute before it crashes. I have tried the repair game option in Origin and have tried removing mods. Anyone else had this issue and know how to fix it?? Thanks!
