@SemaviLady Considering that the current PC that I'm playing my game on is a Notebook computer, I won't be opening up that thing anytime soon, unless I want it to no longer run period. I'm not that competent with computers to trust my tinkering with the internals. I leave that to a tech as far as note-book computers. I would be more apt to crack it open if it was a desktop that I was currently playing on. My desktop (after being dormant for an year and a half with a cooling fan issue - bearing went on the cooling fan -) is at the tech's being fixed...and I'll be playing Sims 3 on that after doing a clean install.

Also the prod from @SemaviLady prompted me to go download internal and CPU core temps apps to make sure that my notebook was running internally at a proper internal temperature.
