Game Crashing after 5 minutes of gameplay (real time) - screen frozen, clock stopped, sims frozen...

I played 2+ hrs on the test save with all CC in without replicating the freeze. So something tells me that the cause of the freezing is a corrupt save. If so, I'm going to ditch the corrupt saves and start the story over again from the point where the sims end up in Sunset Valley.
