@Nikkei_Simmer - Good luck on your progress. Do you put your mods in a Testing level of priority in your game? I've found it very handy. I do not use many sim3packs of user made CC, and practically nothing from TSR touches my TS3 game's 'lips'.
These are some of the priority levels I use in my Resource.cfg and I have not had had issues with this level of priority scoring.
Makes it faster to pull things in testing out when I suspect a problem. I've had no conflicts with Awesomemod, the NRAAS I use and any of Shimrod's mods.
