Game keeps freezing at 5:08am [Fixed]
I've got one Sims 3 save that I'm pretty invested in that's having some problems for some reason. Every time I play this one save now at 5:08am everything sort of freezes. I can't pause or speed up time, I can't access the game menu or my sims menu. The sims freeze where they are. Except the plumbob animations, snow animations and ambient sound effects will continue.
It's something to do with the time because I can keep my game paused for ages and it'll work fine but as soon as the clock hits 5:07-5:08 it freezes like this.
I'm trying to find a cheat I can use to set the hour to sometime past that in hopes that it'll fix it. I'm not sure why it's started doing this, all I can think is maybe some kind of notification is trying to pop up and is glitching my game out? Anyone know what I can do to fix it?
So after doing a bunch of research I came across the solution that there might be a sim stuck somewhere in the game. So I used the cheat 'resetsim *' (without the apostrophes) which reset all sims in the game. Time advanced past 5:08am and I don't know which sim it was that was stuck.
