game keeps minimizing itself need help!
I know this isn't where this post goes I already made a post in technical this morning an no one ever replied an I've waited all day an I really need help!!!! This is what I posted in my other thread:
Since recent patch I have found when loading my game though the launcher I get a black screen like its going to load then it minimizes itself. The first time it did this I uninstalled all mods, deleted all cache files an thumbnails even deleted the DCCcache files in that folder an restarted my game an all was fine after that. Then realizing the game was fine I reloaded the mods I had( I only had mods no CC items like lots from the exchange) an everything was still working fine up till today.
TODAY: I just downloaded two things from the store that where on sale an went to start my game. Same thing happened as before black screen like its going to load then minimizes itself. So I went back to the checklist website(see above)an did all steps 1-9. Game still minimizing itself after doing all steps 1-9.SO I uninstalled ALL games just now to do a fresh restart. Im only installing the base game , island paradise, supernatural , seasons , world adventures , ambitions , uni , late night....Im not installing generations , fast lane stuff, showtime ,pets, high end loft ,outdoor living. If the minimize thing still happens after I re install what else can I do? are there other steps to try other then the checklist?
EDIT: forgot to mention once I even tried renaming the sims 3 folder as a backup an also moved the sims 3 folder to the desktop an that didn't help either. Ive now spent all day reinstalling my games an im still getting the same problem an I don't know what to do! can anyone pelase please please help?
