Thanks to everyone who's following along. These are the last few photos uploaded at the moment, before I start building a new collection.
Everett had been invited, as a grand celebrity, to open the new teahouse at the old mill. It was a lovely site, rebuilt enough to be safe, but with its charm left intact. Gardens around the mill building grew various fruits and vegetables, including brand new cultivars of corn and cucumbers. Patrons were encouraged to harvest what they could use immediately, but leave some for others.
Everett was too dedicated a fisherman by now to leave any body of water unfished. There were an awful lot of sharks.
And because horses always time these things so carefully, he came home to see a brand-new baby bolting for the barn! Mom and baby were soon tucked up for the night.
Wren thought the new colt was adorable. "And he's got gilted spots, instead of gilted stripes like Electrum." So the gilded foal was duly named: Gilty Spots. He was very colorful, orange above, red below, an white in the middle, with lots of golden spots.
He shared his birthday with the baby gnome, who was suddenly a teenager. But while the Sparrows thought that an amusing coincidence, Gilty had other concerns - like breakfast!
