Prom night is here! Wren had done a great deal of fussing with her hair and selecting the right clothes and jewelry. Binky had a simpler time of it, both in the matter of outfit and the fact that he was still new enough at the school that he didn't have a reputation to uphold. He mainly fretted over whether he knew the newest dance, the Rubber-Duckie, well enough to dance in public. They both had a great time, and Wren was crowned prom queen to great applause.
Elayna celebrated the night in her own way by growing up. Her attendants were Marcie and Adam, since Katie and Everett took advantage of the kids' being at prom to have a nice dinner date.
Pansy was now fully trained, and with Elayna grown it was time to send Ecru on to a new home. Katie took Pansy and Everett rode Ecru down to the Equestrian center. Ecru sold for a respectable $6,072, and Pansy for a near record $12,939! Only her half-sister Equinox had brought in more. "That's the last of our fairy horses," said Everett. "Although if Lucky Palms is looking for interesting-looking showy, mounts . . ." Katie laughed. "They said they want stripes, and Electrum can give them those. You weren't expecting me to sell him at this stage of the game for a rainbow-polka-dotted stallion, were you?"
Prom was done, the last mare sold and the thirtieth foal ready for saddle training. Everett called the moving crew and the Sparrows set out for Lucky Palms: one woman, two genies, and one ex-imaginary friend, with two horses and a flat-coated retriever in tow.

Updated the uploaded horses on page 1 with Ember and Pansy. (And I really cannot type tonight, so apologies for any typos I missed.) Next episode, the family arrives in Lucky Palms and get a new home and a new mare - who has her own set of stripes.
