We certainly hope that awful draconian restriction will be lifted. But that requirement is for total system RAM, so the bump in requirements doesn't actually imply anything about how much the game will be able to use. You can't run a program that wants 2 GB of RAM on a system that has 2 GB of RAM because the OS and other systems need to run too. For how far we will actually be able to take things, we are waiting and watching, ever hopeful for some pleasant surprises. :)
