Around 100,000 times (slight exaggeration), but by using mods rather than the EA way.If you move a sim to a new world the EA way, by the phone/computer command, it removes all relationships with and memories of sims in the original world and removes the original from play entirely. It is essentially a shortcut for copying your sim/household to the bin and placing them into a new game.NRaas Porter Mod: Allows you to pack up a subset of the world, multiple households, and move it to a new one. Again, the original world is removed from play as any copy of it would still have the original sims in it. Really only 5 of them are my sims' homeworlds at any given time, the rest are the WA worlds, Uni, Oasis, some additional vacation spots where they like to revisit, and a couple where there is no reason to return but they are where my sims used to live and they still have some friends and extended relatives back there.

I have done the in-game move, both with and without Traveler. It has always worked pretty well for me, either way. But I did learn early on that I should pack anything I wanted to keep in my sims' household inventory, because even if I selected for them to pack their furniture, certain things would always be left behind. Fitness equipment never got transported unless I packed it myself. But then I also discovered that if I chose to sell the furniture, after packing everything I wanted, everything I had packed disappeared from the household inventory too. That was before Traveler though. The one big advantage to moving in-game with Traveler installed is that if you want to edit the the world, you can do that beforehand, save your edited world, and copy the nhd file from that save to your current save. Otherwise, the game will move you to a fresh copy of the world in its original state, without even any EP community lots installed, even if you put the nhd for an edited version in your current save folder.

I've done it by evicting a household to the library and moving them into another game in a new town to show them moving to their new home and leaving the city behind.

I have moved my sims numerous times to different worlds. It’s quite easy. Just save everyone to the bin, start a new save and put them into the world again. Making sure all career buildings are there before you do. Relationships I repair now using Mastercontroller.I am planning to play a straying sim and for him I’m going to install Traveler. But even without the mod I think Sims 3 is very friendly where it comes to changing worlds, thanks to the bin system (preserving all their inventory and progression).

Did some simple testing and yes, the MC Bonus command does increase the hourly wage. Can't say I can figure out why the increases don't match what I've entered as a delta on the sims' career info tabs, although it does on the MC > Status > Career report, and I haven't actually sent any of these sims to work after doing this as I didn't have quite that much time to test. Maybe there is an additional multiplier for the delta in play for Bridgeport, or for sims with high enough job performance scores that suggest they were about to get a raise on their own anyway.

But in any event, the conclusion is that we can manipulate sims' hourly rates of pay that way and igazor learned something new today. :)
