I've never heard a song from Sims 3 on TV. However I did hear a song on TV once that I had plays on Tap Tap Revenge 3, which was interesting (it wasn't a well-known song, either).
But what do I know...I'm not reall up on well-known songs (or TV, for that matter).
It's definitely a funny feeling, though :D
