My vote is for all three (sorry, I don't care about your M/F rules just for the moment, so there!) and the family will be "ruled" by triumvirate. That doesn't have to be permanent, one or two of the heirs and their partners/offspring can peel off and form their own household later on if gameplay goes in that direction. :)
