Didn't realize at first that her original accidental death was quite that long ago.
If not averse to using mods, I might suggest an NRaas MasterController reset on Stella. Or on the entire household, for that matter. MC can also be used to set relationship levels, although the target sims have to not be damaged in the first place if this is what's happened.
This is out of my familiar territory though, I don't usually mess around with dead sims and the processes to bring them back. Maybe others will have further suggestions. But I'm sorry, my sims have proven the capacity to make Richie happier than "that woman" ever can and I have the photos to prove it (NSFW though). I think it's possible that the version of Stella I got might have been much more difficult to even be around than what might be standard. :p
She still lives in the house. Richie can't seem to bring himself to toss her out yet and we're (?!) hoping that she will move out on her own eventually.
For sigs, hit the gear wheel above, then Preferences, then look for Signature Settings on the left side panel.
