We always advise players to accept the pack-specific updates for the very early EP/SPs that had them if offered by the Launcher, but not to worry about it if the Launcher doesn't offer them. I believe those were mostly cosmetic fixes for various items, not really game changing like the base game patches were, and the latter are handled through the Super Patcher.
