@Rhiannon58 - Here's a bit of friendly advice if you haven't discovered it, yet. When dealing with chickens, keep a handy supply of sweetgrass nearby. When your Sim collects a putrid or horrifying egg they will get the 'nauseated' moodlet, eating the sweetgrass will instantly remove the sickness, allowing you to get on with your day uninterrupted.
