If you're a CC (Custom Content) lover like me, you no doubt have a pretty large Mods/Packages folder. :p I'm always curious just how large everyone else's is so that's why I created this poll for fun. Don't be shy. :blush:Just round up to the nearest GB when you vote. :) *If you're wondering how to check, go into Documents/Electronic Arts/TheSims3 and hover your cursor over the Mods folder and a little box should appear that will tell you the size of the folder. :)

My Mod folder is 250 MB. Instead, I have 2.5 GBs of DCCache folder which is almost store items include 300 Mbs of CCs. What kind of ccs are you using? I always feel the hairs and clothes are not enough for male.

(Covers Mods folder up with hands, looks suspiciously to the left, then to the right, then peeks inside). I don't feel this is anyone's business but my own, but since that choice was not represented on the poll I decided to answer properly. :p

I could have picked two options, as File Explorer claims my Mods folder is exactly 10.0 GB.

Mine's 3.3 gb. I try to keep it low and only use CC that I feel I really NEED but it's been creeping up a little lately :D

1,93 GB in the Mods folder. 1,90 GB in the DCCache one. :smile:

This is only what is actually installed in the game. It doesn't count what is in my folders on my desktop that I've not installed yet. :blush:

2.24 GB.

Of course, that isn't accounting for what I've taken out due to lack of use, so chances are it's even bigger.

I have just over 5 gb but I keep all my hairs in a separate folder and only stick it in when I'm looking for new hair for a sim. I then only take that one (or however many the sim needs) out and leave it in the mods folder, then drop the big file back in documents. Not sure how big my hair file is but there sure is a lot in there!

@Kpoi depends on the world size and save size. My current save takes about a minute and a half to load, but it's still a pretty early on save. I have an empty world for testing CC in CAS that takes about 30 seconds. I merge my CC so I have less package files than you'd think. From that, I surmise that loading times (at least for me) are mostly influenced by, as I said, world size and save file size.

tl;dr: Loading is pretty fast. :tongue:

@Kpoi Lol I don't mind. I built my computer. The specs are:

Processor: Intel Core i5-6600K @ 3.50GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060, 6 GB
RAM: 16 GB
Storage: The Sims 3 is installed on my Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1 TB (I have 3 SSDs totaling 1,627 GB of storage)
OS: Windows 10

@Iceey Sorry to hear your save is giving you trouble. :(

@emorrill Merging CC is essential. Over 200ish package files and the game really starts to slow down.
