- You actually cannot do that. Grimmy is a special case Service Sim with a unique life state (occult) and such actions would be blocked by the game's core programming as it would tend to break everything. The same is true for the other sim who is in this class, the ITF Time Traveler. Although not the same thing, it used to be that players found ways to make babies with Grimmy (not sure that ever really worked well) but EA blocked that as well with one of the very early patches.
Having said that, if you have the Door of Life and Death store premium object from Grim's Ghastly Manor, the sim who looks like the Grim Reaper who "staffs" the door is really a Role Sim and an imposter, not the real Grim Reaper. That one might provide a bit more flexibility although it's possible that EA blocked such actions on him as well or changes him into more of a regular sim without the Reaperlike appearance if this is attempted. I don't have that set so I can't test anything out on him, but I also don't recall anyone reporting that they have done this. - UlanDhor6 years agoSeasoned AceHmm, it would be interesting to see where the line is drawn of what you can do with the standard Grim Reaper.
When I only had the Starter Pack (base game plus Late Night), my sim in my original Bridgeport game became good friends with Grim, because there was one sim in a constantly partying group of apartment dwellers who had the "unlucky" trait and repeatedly died to hilarious accidents. Lots of cellphone pics and friendly conversations later, Grim one day called my sim to go on a date at the local science center. Grim immediately went for a long swim in the pool that's below parts of the building there, and for that he changes from his skeletal appearance into a YA sim with jet black skin. You could do all romantic interactions up to "make out", and there unfortunately wasn't any place to test whether you could go any further. He left hours later when I tried to get him to go on a tour of the science center, so I can't tell anything more than that. - quixotictiger6 years agoNew Spectator

I have done this. I placed the Door of Life and Death on the home lot and called on the imitation Reaper. He appeared, one of my Sims interacted with him for a bit and then I added him to the household with MC. He was controllable for a couple hours but then disappeared from the lot and from the portrait panel. I had thought it was a lost cause, but he was later recovered with OW and stayed as part of the household from then on. He retained the Reaper outfit for everyday wear, although he was a normal looking Sim (except for the black missing skin texture) in other outfit categories. He and my Sim had quads.
Before Grim’s Ghastly Manor was released, I used to use a fake Reaper I had downloaded from the Exchange which I’d added to my household for story screenshots. He also functions like a regular Sim but wears the Reaper outfit for everyday, so that might be another option for you, OP, if you don’t have the premium content mentioned.
But I have found I can still successfully TFB with the real Grim Reaper (when he sticks around after a death). I used the mod that must not be named to skip directly to woohoo without need for other interactions. The real Grimmy and my Sim also had quads, which were the younger half siblings of the other set of quads the Sim had with the fake Reaper from the Door of Life and Death. I think it must have been one of those identical twin situations—they looked like the same guy to her! :joy:
