How have you settings at Sims 3: lifespan, seasons, moon cycle?

I tend to enabled story progression also but allow celebrities. My thoughts on Supernaturals changes all the time! :P

I always hesitated to install mods. It feels like I'll do something wrong and game will become messed up :D.

Hi everyone! I've recently got into the sims 3 as I haven't played it in years and finally have the money to buy a few packs. I have generations, pets, season, supernatural and ambitions. I would really like to experience having grandkids in this game as the sims 4 is very tricky to do so and fulfil the gameplay at the same time. What settings do you have to each sim life stage and what do you have your seasons to get the chance to have grandkids if the child sims where to have babies in their early Adults (Not YA) stages?

Everybody lives forever and any aging up is done by my sim with age of instant potions etc it makes the game extra fun and never the same game each time.I have a shop I place in my town that has all the potions for free be it making sims older or elder sims younger when in the mood to play "God" it is great and I never got bored of that playstyle

As far as season setting I am a spring for 6 days and the rest summer reason is I love the spring festival and egg hunts and trying to win the king and queen of the dance plaques with my wife/gf.I love outdoor activities so find summer fun for everything it also eliminates the constant frozen sims I have to thaw and the annoying leaves to rake.Lastly I turn off rain maybe it is my luck but it seems to rain constantly and ruin outings or parties even ruined my outdoor wedding before.

Moon cycle I leave at a single phase because if I want zombies I have them with a toss of a potion.See fun fun

Celebrities are easy I have premade celebs placed and turn the option off so only my playable sim can become one if it fits my story so other than the premade ones the celeb virus does not spread and there is a genuine celeb feel when you encounter one.

Supernaturals are same as moon cycle I toss potions to decide as I play who is what life state and when.Most of the time usually the attractive girl sim catches my eye and I think wow she will be a super cute fairy or a mean sim that treated me wrong gets turned into a witch or an enemy might get hit with a simbot conversion potion ...the list goes on.

My game is a game within a game within a game a simple trip to the bookstore might turn into a teen becoming a woman an elder getting a second chance at life and the creepy guy that always boo's when you enter a room is now the towns wandering mummy or that annoying Jared Frio gets a full random personality trait adjustment courtesy of an elixir


Try it guys adds excitement on top of everything else <3
