Thank you , that all seems a bit confusing but I'll try give it a go and get back to you. I've not used Geforce to optimise the settings and made sure it isn't attempting to. So are you saying I haven't got the right laptop for sims? if so I'm so devastated. I spent ages researching which laptop to get for sims and after reading many many posts from people on here and other forums I gathered that i7 and Nvidia Geforce was the way to go and spent £750 :(
Should I still be facing these issues with sims 4? because I'm now facing the issue where sims 4 overheats the laptop immediately too even though the fps isn't going higher than 70.
This wasn't an issue until today, I've only had this laptop a few months.
