It lets you repair the item to use so you can play out the homeless challenge etc legit by fixing broken stuff to furnish your shack.The time was bumped up cause trashed stuff requires work so adds realism.I do not know if the repaired stuff can be sold but really the ability to be a picker and reuse cool stuff you find by putting in the work is fun enough.

Thank you so much! I’ll definitely add the mod as I love playing rags to riches style games. I was so happy to discover that there were things to salvage a few days ago. My poor Sim went nuts improving his handiness skill so he could repair the machine.
