How to stop Sims 3 from shoving homosexual relationships at me.

My character is a straight character im building up his relationship with a girl but when at work it said new love interest with the male boss and then afterwards as soon as he leaves i get the first ...

This is simple. Sims will date, marry, or flirt with whomever you tell them to. If you don't want your sim to have a homosexual relationship, then, ignore that wish and have him flirt with female sims. The end.

Sims do what you tell them to do. You don't have to fulfill their wishes if you don't want to.
