Humorous Anecdotes

My Sim is about to age up from teen to young adult. The school REALLY seems to want to give her an opportunity. First was "Outside Reading", then came "Young Politician’s Club Induction" and now "Work/School Learning Project". All of them required her to perform the task, then report back to school. MONDAY. It's Friday. Her birthday will be this evening. She can't report back before then. I could have her eat a Life Fruit, but it's FRIDAY.

Update: This school has seemed to give up on the graduating Sim and offered "Outside Reading" to a younger teen.

The only Plasma Fruit my Sim has grown so far was from a putrid seed. I was going to have them replant them and work them up to perfect, but hadn't gotten around to it yet. My 'just learning' cook made pancakes, with one of those lousy fruit and made everybody sick. Then she made waffles with another one, and made everybody sick. The fridge is filling up with perfect fruit, but she had to use the worst crap to make breakfast. Yeach!!

I screwed up badly. My dogs have been collecting Tiberium for quite some time now. Because my family had limited resources (I started from broke with an empty lot), I've just been collecting them. Now that money is no longer a problem (and a bunch of my Sims are getting the wish to be worth 1,000,000 simoleons) I cleaned out my rock collection, cutting the gems and smelting the metals. When they came back, I sold them all. I was just thinking, "What happened to the Tiberium spires?" I realized that I had sold them along with the other cut gems and metal ingots. I forgot to let them grow. I had more than 20 of them. OOOOPPPPPPPS!!!!!!!

It's been a bit since I've posted here. At the risk of getting a message about reviving a dead thread, I'll post this. This is an anecdotes thread and shouldn't become a dead thread. If it does, that tells me that, every time I post an anecdote, I should post it in a new thread. How ridiculous would that be (Yes, a rhetorical question - note lack of question mark).

I had two teens at the dojo waiting to top out the "Break 100 Boards" wish. I wanted to open up spots before travelling the next day. They arrived late due to after school activities etc. I sent an adult over and told them to read their cookbook (level 5 going on 6). They levelled up, and went home, leaving the two teens to be brought home by the police. At least they both made it home. It's really annoying when disappear instead of arriving home with a police escort.

I hate when Sims complain about noisy baby. I've got one Sim that has been doing a lot of that tonight. The cause of all this fuss is a toddler who is hungry, filthy and exhausted. The Sim taking care of him spends more time bitching about the noisy baby than seeing to his needs. It's been 3 sim hours and he is presently sitting on the floor in front of the "Dirty No More Bathing And Changing Station" after his bath while his caretaker bitches some more. The greater problem in my overstuffed house, is that all the other Sims can't go to sleep while the baby is crying. It's 2:30 in the morning and I can't even keep them in their beds because they are too tired to read so they keep getting up to come down and complain about the noisy baby. It that stupid bitching Sim hadn't spent so much time bitching, the kid would have been asleep two hours ago. ARRRGH!!!!! I feel better now that I have ranted. :)

p.s. I guess I can't even say bitching. It looks worse than it is but seems more appropriate somehow.
