If the Mod is written in english then the option should be there. try going through all of them. as for the hybrids that's just how they are i guess. I have a vampire fairy hybrid who has all the vampire powers and fairy wings but no fairy powers. she doesn't even have the magic bar. I haven't tried doing different mixes except for that sim.
