I cannot be the only person who thinks this...

The thing is the game isn't "thinking". It's purely random selection. Do you use CC clothing/shoes? Often they are categorized for the most unlikely outfit. I know I have never had a male in panties for ANY outfit! :D

yeah it just randomizes.

though makes me wonder why there are heels in athletics category? :P

I find Career outfits to be the wackiest. Probably because almost everything is available for that.

The carreer outfitspart in cas has all undies made by ea, and those of the store and the ingame. I am tired of that.

Lol! It is the same as when your sims grow up, the game throws any random thing at them and it has a worse sense of fashion than me. I noticed that people take their sims to cas and change their sims clothes and stuff brfore they are even able to grab a piece of birthday cake. I started doing it too even though i dont really take pics of my sims during birhdays. Cant have them walking around even two steps with those terrible and unmatched outfits XD

@fmil I am one of those who fixes their sims before they can even think about cake! :D I actually go one step further than making them over on their birthday. I will take them into CAS the day before their birthday (after I have saved my daily session), age them up, give them a makeover and save them to the bin. As soon as they age up the next day I take them back into CAS and do a body swap. Much quicker than doing a full makeover without losing momentum or immersion in what's happening.

I find that the part time job outfits can be odd. Several times they've been barefoot, for instance.

@Mikezumi great idea! Actually, i am guilty of taking my sims into cas as soon as they are born, age them into young adults, and give them a style and all XD but by the time they actually become young adults my ideas change, and drasticly sometimes, so i end up not using the old style and just make a new one. Your Idea of taking them to cas a day before their birthday seems like it would solve this and save me the trouble.

@fmil I usually "style" my sims when they are toddlers for a sneak peek on how they will grow up but don't save it because, like you, they never end up the same when they grow up. A day before their birthday I already have a feel for their personality so it's easier to make a final decision :)

Some CC creators enables the clothes for random and all categories, which is annoying. This could mean that your sim gets a normal bathing suit... plus high heels. If they are installed as a package I use to fix it with s3oc by unclicking the categories I don't want them in and save.
