I do prefer Sims 3
I've given it a go but Sims 4 doesn't quite cut it for me - for me it's the open world that seals it. I might play it occasionally but for me it's sims 3

Hello everyone! Just adding my two cents here. As soon as I heard about (and read up on) the Sims 4, I went out and bought Sims 3. ;)
