I think sims 3 is the best for the homeless challenge
because you can get sun burn and freeze to death and you have to buy food at a store. do you guys agree ?

Or if you're in Riverview, you can, um, *borrow* whatever produce the Carpenter-Rhodes household happens to have available that day. My sim can make a couple hundred bucks there on a good day, especially if the garlic plants are cooperating.
But the best thing of all about TS3 is that you can do everything listed with multiple sims at the same time. No loading screens or sequestered neighborhoods means you can flip back and forth between one sim who's harvesting and another who's dumpster diving, or even (if you're a glutton for punishment) to a kid running around on a bike collecting rocks.
