I want to eliminate my Sims' celebrity status

I think with MasterController installed, there is an option to set or unset your celebrity status. I'm not 100% sure though. @igazor ?

ETA testingcheats might have an option as well. Again, someone help me out with this.

You likely need to learn about using Mods and the NRaas Mods are the safest ones to use to solve your issues.I've currently got 88 NRaas Mod files installed because I had so many issues and yours was just one of them.

The MasterController way: NRaas > MC > (Sim) > Intermediate > Celebrity Level > 0 (MC base mod and MC Cheats add-on module required)

To get rid of the Paparazzi entirely, that would require the NRaas Register mod.

I do not believe you can do either without mods. Am a little puzzled why moving to a new town with the Celebrity System shut down in Game Options didn't do the trick, but it sounds like she still managed to bring her celeb status with her somehow.

If you don't want to use mods, there is a way to remove her stars. You will need to turn on testingcheatsenabled true I'm not sure, but I think you click on this sim to bring this option up. It's been a long time since I did it this way. I just use Master Controller (a mod) the remove and stop the whole celebrity thing. The Register mod stops all paparazzi all together.

This I did not know. I really need to play this game without mods in place once in a while. :)

Testingcheats then click on the Sim and set celebrity level to zero,paparazzi are annoying unless you use the celebrity gate system that came with the expansion,has a buzzer to buzz in people.Looks like the entrance to Elvis's Graceland.

Or you can be evil and
A. Buy a cowplant (considering you own it from the store)
B. Watch the zombies kill them on the full moon (considering you have Supernatural)
C. Kill them yourself, build walls around them and watch them starve and pee themselves.

Yes, the game will keep spawning new ones, but those three options never fail to provide fun.

@Slynnski Or better yet make your front door of your house the door from Grims Manor,everytime a paparazzi comes near they get killed by it.It is the ultimate paparazzi killing machine.
