I'm doing build/buy

I'm doing building, but I need a quick help or answers. Like add stadium but I forgot what to use. Here what I'm am talking about.  Like I can put hospital in. But do I use no visitors or visitors allowed?

  • pugslover4  You can choose either "no visitors allowed" or "visitors allowed," whatever you prefer.  It depends on whether you want sims to visit the lot for reasons NOT tied to the rabbithole.  So with "no visitors allowed," the sims would still go to work or whatever, but they wouldn't hang out on the lot just because it's there.

Once you place the rabbithole, the lot type will change to reflect that.

  • DivinylsFan  When you're trying to place a lot in Edit Town and some supposedly vacant lots aren't available, that means they're too small, not zoned correctly (Residential vs. Community), or they're not actually vacant.  I see the same thing with residential lots sometimes, and bulldozing doesn't remove the lot itself, just whatever item(s) were on the supposedly-empty lot that made the game think the lot was not in fact empty.  But that's the key—the game thinks the lot isn't empty and just removes whatever it sees.  When the lot is truly empty, bulldozing it removes the lot.

I recently uploaded Alryne Valley Empty, my Alryne Valley Homes world with all lots bulldozed and any spawners on those lots deleted. The only spawners are in the world itself.

I created my Alryne Valley world for those who wish to use my world as a base for their creations or for a challenge requiring an empty world (Post Apocalyptic World RebuildNothing is Free, Rebuild the World [2013], Build a World - Updated, etc.) To save the time bulldozing all the buildings from my Alryne Valley Homes world for these challenges, I have provided a version, Alryne Valley Empty, with no buildings or man-made structures.

If your challenge allows a garden, you may download Wild Harvest, an 18x22 lot containing only base game plants and some seed spawners - common, uncommon, rare, and special seeds. It can be placed at 104 Garnet Ave W in Alryne Valley.

You can check out details of Alryne Valley Empty on my site.

Download from the Sims 3 Exchange: Alryne Valley Empty

NOTE: I forgot to change the world description before uploading it to the exchange, so it isn't accurate for that world. It contains information about the residential and community lots in my Alryne Valley Homes world and my Alryne Valley Sims world and a link to a previous version of Alryne Valley (Alryne Valley Finale). The corrected description is listed below:

Alryne Valley Empty is a coastal town surrounded by snow-covered mountains. There are 49 community lots, including two diving spots, and 68 residential lots. All of these lots are undeveloped (empty) except the diving lots. The world is completely void of all residential and community buildings. A Street Map of Alryne Valley is available. Alryne Valley Homes contains the residential and community buildings. Alryne Valley Sims includes residential and community buildings and has a population of 18 households (11 families and 16 single young adult Sims) for a balanced population.

Have fun with creating your own world. I found it challenging and am proud of how it turned out.
