Connor had been giving Jared the cold shoulder for three days, Jared was sick of his little brother pouting over his and Julia's relationship. As far as Jared was concerned Connor had plenty of time to make a move on Julia...being perpetually shy with the ladies was a big character flaw of Connor's.
