investigator career

I've found two different things when googling "study investigator career". One, it's glitched. And two, it's a university opportunity that is incorrectly assigned.

You're saying the police station is telling you to study. Could you explain more? Is it like an opportunity when you get a new job assignment? I'd say just cancel that one out and move on to the next one.

Many opportunities in the career are broken in my experience. I've often had the sim reset just when the opportunity should be completed.

I've just been playing the Investigator career for the first time in ages and I've had that exact problem: I get an opportunity to help out in the 'Golden Llama' case, but before it is complete my sim gets reset. This has happened before, and I seem to remember being told it had to do with the combined City Hall/Police Station/Military Base rabbithole.

:p I have that rabbit hole in my game.
Do you think temporarily plopping down a police station rabbit hole will work around it?
