Having the game installed on and the user game folder (Documents) running from an SSD will be expected to help dramatically with load and save times, caching, the loading up of CAS and Build/Buy catalogs and CASt patterns, as well as travel transitions. These are the things that require intense hard drive read/write access. It is not known to improve or change actual gameplay or performance other than these kinds of things because the game otherwise, for the most part, runs from RAM once it's all loaded up.
