Is it still possible to register a CD-key at the Store and redeem Simpoints?

Isn't that all done via Origin now?

Not really sure. I should mention that I already own the basegame, and it's registered under Origin. This is an extra code I bought to redeem for Simpoints under the Store.

I think getting simpoints is done via Origin as well. I could be mistaken. Perhaps someone else know for sure ; )

That 1,000 points offer should still be honored for both base games and the WA expansion pack. It may take a while for the simpoints to show up and be ready for use, though. It should be noted that only a finite number of base games (and EPs of the same title) can be registered to the same player account. Not sure what the limit is, something like three each?

I was able to do so, but it only dished out 500. Hunh. So, I guess you can't get 1k anymore... bummer. :p
