Is the exchange safe? What about The Sims Resource? What are some good cc sites?

So I heard that the Sims 3 exchange is the worst place to download from. But I really like the clothes,hair,etc.I don't download lots or Sims, because that is bad and i know that. But how bout the clo...

Well thanks for the tips. I guess the exchange really is sketchy and unsafe. It's funny how we don't trust the company's own content system. hehe.
