I wouldn't listen to them I never paid for things on TSR and I had the paid stuff. But I knew people who had accounts and there stuff is awesome.
The scandal was with member accounts that paid for no ads and no wait time. If you can Handle waiting 10 secs between downloading you will be fine. Read reviews and check when it was made, it is know for content being out of date.
Another site for cc is simupdates but again check reviews.
