It's a fully fleshed game, still challenging & fun. Just sad that we won't be able to have it around a little longer, because hardware, and the software that runs it will change, making it harder to play.
A scary thought about computers isn't it but the good news is there are people on the forum who might be able to help us keep playing. As for EA NOBODY knows what the long term plan for this game is but as long as there are residual sales they are unlikely to do anything drastic. The game is still remarkably popular because, as you say, it has so much to retain it's very loyal fan base.
