It sounds like you have successfully moved and are happy with your choice to do so. The new features offered by TS4 were not enough on their own for me to move. I will also say that I am a long way from the end of exploring all TS3 has to offer. Many other TS3 players have said the same. With the variety of different activities on offer and sandbox nature of the game we start in different places and explore at different rates.
There is undoubtedly a lot more stuff coming for TS4 so I hope there will be plenty for you to enjoy :)
I’m enjoying Sims 4 atm with the Vampires pack, which is really great, but the funny thing is a feature like multitasking for me continues to be a downside of the game, not something that pulls me in. I deal with it, that describes it best. I really hope they won’t do anything like that again in a next game, not this way that is. And I love it Sims 3 forces you to be patient when a sim is travelling, it’s the fastness (if teleporting is meant there) that keeps on being a downside for me as well. I really enjoy Vampires, they are so very well done (truely in depth) in this iteration, but enough to ‘move on’ from Sims 3: no way. I plan to play the games in turn and when I’ve explored everything there is to explore concerning the vampires, it will probably be 100% Sims 3 again for me (Sims wise, I also play and plan to play other games).
