It would still have to be grown as normal, but if the one who grows it doesn't use it they pass it on as the torch. If it does get used you are not aloud any more.

I like the idea of a single death flower for the entire challenge! That way there is a limit. Now death flowers, like life fruit, can be found in various areas as well as grown from special seeds. Does it have to be grown? Or can it be found? You said for life fruit it can be grown or found. :D
Depending on the town you are in a death flower plant is readily available in graveyards and death flowers can only be harvested once before the plant dies and can not be revived, limiting its use. There is also both a death flower plant and a life fruit plant available in a tomb in Egypt (which you have to pay to go to and that limits how many times you can go, like university).
I shouldn't be giving away all my secrets. :P I'm all for death flowers but I completely agree there should be a limit. :)
