ISBI (I'm surrounded by idiots) Rules updated for Sims 3
I can't take credit for this, I didn't write it I'm just updating the rules for sims 3 and omitting the sims 2 things.
The point of this challenge is to try to manage an entire household through several generations while only having one character under your control. Other household members must rely entirely on their artificial intelligence (or lack thereof). So I can only control the TH(Torch-Holder/Heir) while the rest of the gang are on autonomy and I can not touch them!
You can have ONE COMMAND per life stage for each NTH(non-torch-holder) sim. If you choose not to use that one command, it does not pass over to the next stage. You don’t use it – You lose it.
If your NTH grows up and can choose a trait, choose one! You’ve earned it!
If you get an opportunity for a NTH, you may take it. If they have to gather something or such, they have to do it themselves(or you may put things in their inventory), you can’t make them, but you are allowed to click on the button to make them complete the opportunity, as they can’t do that on their own.
When you get the first pre-birthday announcement that your heir is going to become an adult, you can now pass the torch to them. Keep in mind that once you hand over the torch, you can NEVER GO BACK to your former torch-holder.
Starting out:
You must start with one young adult sim like you would a normal legacy on the biggest lot with the bare necessities.
Pets:
Your sim can also have a pet. You can choose to control the pet but it will not bring any points for you that way.
*Pets do not deduct points for urinating inside.
*You do lose points if a social worker comes to take your pet
Bringing sims in:
You can marry in any sim, but not have a roommate. This sim can not be controlled and can bring in and deduct points from your total.
Children:
You must have at least 2 children, an heir and a spare. If the occasion occurs where you can absolutely not have another child, this child will be the torch holder and you just have to be more careful that this sim doesn't die. You can not control the children until they reach their young adult stage and you pick the torch holder.
Once you pick a torch holder you can only control that sim and not go back to the last TH.
Points? More like a Tally System: Keep tally of events, then share them at the end of your posts.
*Torch-Holders.
*Life-Time Wish Achievements (One tally per LTW achieved.)
*Social Worker Visits. (One tally per child taken at SW visit.)
*Accidental Deaths.
*Number of Special Tombstones(non-old age) vs. Total Death Count. Ex: 8/15
*Pass-Outs (except fainting when someone sees a ghost)
*Self-Wettings
*Fires
*Fights
*Reach top of a career. (One tally each time your sims do this, even if it’s the same sim doing it!)
*100,000. (One tally for every 100,000 simoleons in your net-worth. Check build/buy mode for this number.)
Whenever any of these things happen, add a point/tally to that category. So, your tally board should look something like this:
Torch-Holders: 5
LTWs Achieved: 2
Self-Wettings: 0
Social Worker Visits: 1
This probably goes without saying but no cheats of any kind are allowed.
except building cheats and resetsim.
