Isolating a hairstyle from a bought town?

I am currently doing a major challenge and, to keep the game running optimally, I want to minimize the installed DLC to only what I currently use in the challenge. Therefore I uninstalled all of my worlds, only to realize that I lost my sims beautiful hairstyle in the process! I have since pinpointed that I used a hairstyle from Midnight Hollow, which I own. Is there a way to isolate and install just that hairstyle without installing the whole town and everything that comes with it?

    Did you ever figure this out?

    I'm not sure if the one you were looking for, but there are several in these two. I believe you can separate out the one you want from all the rest (I think).

    Thanks, I found a tutorial that used different kinds of software to 'unpack' a pack, and I managed to isolate it in the end. And it is in neither of the two links that you have, but I am sure others might find those links very useful! It is Midnight Hollow's Skinny Dreads hairstyle, as you can see in my current blog on Amber Allstar!
